What's winter without Wile's Lake Farm Market in your freezer. We are closing for the season on November 1, 2020. Please order well in advance of this date to avoid disappointment. Our breads, sweets, and market kitchen entrees and sides all freeze well and are welcome when it's cold outside and the snow is flying!
It's hard to believe that it's the season for fall mums. But the geese are flying, the kids are going back to school, and the hours of sunlight are fleeing fast. Mums are responsive to daylight and in fact only start to bud as the days grow shorter (in scientific terms this is known as a photoperiodic response). We have some lovely mums here at the market -- 10 inch pots are $14.95. A variety of colours.
